Cristy May SyCip

Cristy May SyCip was given an opportunity to take on a new beginning
when she had learned that her son was autistic 4 years ago. She became
certified through “Naturally Yoga” as a yoga teacher for the young. Anusara
Yoga has helped her recognize the shining light within her and she would
like to share her enthusiasm and celebrate the meaning of the heart. This
has paved her way to specialize teaching kids to young adults with autism
and other disabilities. Kula for Karma is an organization of yoga teachers
who offer yoga to individuals whose life has been affected by illness,
abuse, addiction, trauma and other conditions.

She has a background in all forms of dance and is a Reiki Master
Practitioner (the practice of healing the body, mind and spirit). She
continues her teacher training in Anusara Yoga this spring time. She is
looking forward to giving community workshops to therapists and
volunteers all ages. Cristy would like to recognize all her teachers; Chaya
Spencer, Dorothea Grant, Vishali Varga, Hillary Freeman,Thomas Clifford
as well as her students.
